  • Friday, October 8, 2004: Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, and Switzerland joined, bringing the total participating countries to nine.
  • Tuesday, May 10, 2011: The game format changed with the introduction of a second weekly draw and the number of Lucky Stars increasing from 9 to 11.
  • Thursday, January 12, 2012: The Jackpot Pool Cap was permanently set at €190,000,000. If the jackpot was not won, the prize money would roll down to the next tier.
  • Saturday, September 24, 2016: The number of Lucky Stars increased from 11 to 12, increasing the jackpot odds from 1 in 117 million to 1 in 140 million.
  • Saturday, February 1, 2020: The maximum jackpot cap was raised to €200,000,000, with an escalator that can eventually reach €250,000,000.
